Meningitis B Vaccine - update

We are currently experiencing a national shortage of the Meningitis B vaccine Bexsero which means we are unable to start any new courses of the vaccine. We are however operating a waiting list for all those who wish to be vaccinated. If you would like to join our waiting list, please contact our reception team on 01262 673362.

We are not yet able to advise a timeframe of when the vaccines will be available, although we have been informed supply will remain low until the summer of this year. We will send regular updates to patients on the waiting list. If your child has already started a course of Meningitis B vaccine with us, we will honour the remainder of that course as a priority.

Please note: This shortage applies to private vaccinations only – those children who’re eligible and deemed as most at risk will still be vaccinated under the NHS programme.
